Climate

The UK, as a whole, has a temperate climate, characterised by warm wet summers, mild wet winters and low levels of humidity.

Wrexham and the Climate

There are fluctuations within the country and some areas do suffer from extremes, but this is mainly on account of their topography. Wrexham is situated on the edge of the Cheshire Plains, to the east of the mountainous areas of Wales, and so does not suffer from excessive snowfall and frosts. It is most unusual for any form of transportation to and from the area to be affected by adverse weather conditions.
