Town Centre Forum

The Wrexham Town Centre Forum has been formed by a wide range of businesses and organisations with a common interest in the prosperous development of Wrexham. The Town Centre Forum members co-operate to influence and secure positive developments, activities and initiatives within the town.

Wrexham Town Centre Forum's aim is "To promote co-operative partnership activity designed to ensure that Wrexham Town Centre is recognised as an attractive, clean and safe environment in which to maximise its potential as the major shopping, tourism and cultural centre for North Wales."

To facilitate this, the Forum is organised into focus groups which look at specific areas of interest to them, namely :-

• Access - To ensure that all sectors of the community can enjoy efficient access to, across and within Wrexham at all times.

• Security - To secure a crime free zone in Wrexham Town Centre.

• Environment - To secure an attractive and memorable visual impression of Wrexham.

• Marketing - To create a positive awareness of Wrexham both regionally and nationally.

• Events Co-ordination - To secure wide participation in, and ownership of, promotional events in Wrexham.

• Training - To encourage all businesses in Wrexham to participate in effective, targeted and appropriate training schemes.
