ICT Advisory Service

 

The network of ICT Advisory Services across Wales provides free, impartial advice for small and medium-sized businesses.

Qualified advisors guide businesses through the process of selecting and starting to use Information Communication Technologies (ICT). Wrexham is one of 24 Centres in this network, located throughout Wales, managed by the Welsh Development Agency.

Information and Guidance on:

  • Internet and use of websites
  • Networking Hardware and Software
  • Data Backup

  • E-Marketing & Web Development
  • Wireless Networking
  • Accounts Packages

Broadband Demonstrations

The Centres are equipped with a range of Broadband technologies and offer applicants a free 'Try Before You Buy' service. Ask for further details.

Eligibility

If you are a business in Wales, you are eligible for up to half a day free ICT support and advice.

Free Business Advice and Support

The ICT Support Centres cater for businesses who need straightforward answers to questions like:

  • How do I get email and web access?
  • How do I use electronic records?
  • How do I select the right accounting software for my business?

Advice is delivered on behalf of the WDA by your local unitary authority / enterprise agency. Advisors have both an ICT and business background, and will either have attained or be working towards their @TEB Technology Means Business (TMB) qualification.
