Article 33

The Welsh Assembly Government launched the Article 33 programme, part of the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2000 - 2006.

The programme invests in the infrastructure of rural communities in East Wales and has three priorities:

• Provision of basic services.
• Renovation of villages.
• Tourism and craft activities.
