 Community events are key elements in building on the strength and cohesion of rural communities, in the cultural make-up of an area, and in the appreciation and understanding of an area. Northern Marches Cymru is offering a flexible and responsive support system to existing and new community-based events in rural Wrexham. This support will include training programmes for organisers, advice, networking and help with costs. It will also encourage and support groups working together to share resources and gain greater benefit from their work.
This support will also be linked to wider national and regional event structures across Wales, through a partnership with other LEADER+ groups and festivals, adding value to local activity through national partnerships and promotion.
