Northern Marches Cymru's aim is to develop and regenerate the environmental, cultural, economic and social vitality of our rural communities.
This is currently being run through three rural regeneration programmes, Leader+, Rural Community Action (RCA) and Article 33. Funding is generated from the European Commission, Welsh European Funding Office, Welsh Development Agency (Welsh Assembly Government) with some match funding locally.
These programmes provide us with tools to encourage and support community development seamlessly, ensuring compatibility and allowing synergy between the programmes and within the project activity.
