Connect - Spring 2007

 

Welcome to the latest edition of Connect, Wrexham County Borough Council’s quarterly magazine for people who live and work in the county borough.

As you will know one of our main priorities is to reduce the amount of waste we send to landfill and there are lots of ways you can help – see page 6 for more information.

The smoking ban is now in effect and our Smoke Free Co-ordinator gives advice on what businesses can do to comply with the law.

As the number of economic migrants increases in Wrexham, Tracey Prandle and Monika Thomas are working closely with them and their families to ensure that they receive the support and information they need in order to fully integrate into our community.

And we need your support to help make Wrexham a cleaner and greener place in time for this year’s Wales in Bloom competition.  For details on how you can help see page 11.
