Connect - Summer 2006

Welcome to the latest edition of Connect, Wrexham County Borough Council’s twice yearly magazine for people who live and work in the county borough.

Summer is here and let’s hope we get some good weather! But rain or shine there is still plenty to see and do in our area. For details of what’s on and how to keep the children entertained over the long summer months read on!

In this edition we feature news about our One Wrexham initiative, with organisations and businesses being invited to pledge their support for the growing diversity of Wrexham County Borough by signing a Charter of Belonging to Wrexham. We also look at the rolling out of our Recycle with Michael scheme to a number of new areas this year and into early next year. And we focus on the work of two of our members of staff - school crossing patrol Dot Jones and Animal Husbandry Worker Kia Byrne.
