Border Crossing (Przekraczanie Granic)

‘Border Crossing’ is an exhibition which comprises the work of several Polish artists who are based in and around the town of Bielsko-Biala in south-west Poland.

The exhibition is the ‘second half’ of a four-year practice-led research project funded by the Arts Council of Wales, Oriel Wrecsam and University of Wales, NEWI in Wrexham. The exhibition is a collaboration between Oriel Wrecsam, Galeria Bielska BWA, in Bielsko-Biala, Poland and Oriel Indigo03, NEWI. It is installed at two sites, Oriel Wrecsam and Oriel Indigo03, NEWI.

The shows in Wrexham reciprocate two exhibitions in Poland, March 2005, of artists based in and around Wrexham. The exhibitions were: ‘Borderlines’ at Galeria Bielska BWA; and ‘On the Brink’ at Galeria Sukiennice, Krakow.
