28 April – 9 June 2007
This is the fourth Wrexham Print International biennale exhibition and it has established a secure place in the world of printmaking.
120 entries were received from artists based across the world, with notable work coming in from New Zealand, the USA, Argentina and Canada.
The selected artists have chosen different ways to make their point through their prints, producing high quality works made in an exciting variety of mediums, techniques and approaches. These are well-drawn and constructed works with good composition - and quite a lot of pieces that made the selection panel members chuckle.

Many artists represented here are well know both in their own countries and internationally and have developed their skills in the manifold techniques of printmaking using them to articulate their observations of and concerns about the world in which they live.
“I am greatly looking forward to seeing the final exhibition, and fully expect to be surprised and impressed.” Anita Klein PRE (Artist Printmaker and selection panel member).
