Tracy Griffin

Over the last few years Tracy has been investigating the technological advancements of metal salt etching and acrylic printmaking. Her continuing research into new printmaking materials and techniques is driven by the importance of protecting the environment but also exploring the potential of these experimental materials, creating new surfaces in both two and three dimensions.

The images on display in this exhibition are pieces based on imagery of water and coastline, and these themes combined with plaster, metal, glass and paper have created physical and sculptural drawings, revealing landscapes often hidden or missed. The observations of the small and insignificant combine to reveal a beautiful and unique landscape.
