In Wrexham we are committed to improving the services available for disabled children, young people and adults and their families, and improving the promotion of such services, particularly at transition. To increase awareness of local childcare, transition and other services available in Wrexham for disabled children, young people and adults, a successful Disability Information Event was held on April 18th 2012 in Wrexham Memorial Hall.
Professionals and colleagues were invited to have stands to share and promote their services that support disabled children, young people and adults and their families.
The event proved successful in allowing effective information sharing, networking and awareness raising and was an excellent opportunity to showcase what we do and to promote our services that support disabled children, young people and adults and their families.
