Wrexham Family Information Service provides FREE information, support and guidance on all aspects of childcare, children and young people’s services in Wrexham including:

  • day nurseries
  • out of school clubs, including before, after school and holiday clubs
  • playgroups/cylch meithrin
  • parent/toddler groups
  • help with childcare costs
  • play, sports and other leisure activities
  • things to do in the school holidays
  • children's illnesses and conditions
  • services for disabled children and children with special needs
  • education
  • organisations and helplines for parents
  • careers in childcare, including training and qualifications
  • starting your own childcare business
  • work-life balance

Wrexham Family Information Service can provide information on specific issues affecting families of children aged 0-19, such as:

  • children’s behaviour
  • breastfeeding
  • potty training
  • child safety
  • bullying
  • drug and alcohol abuse
