One Wrexham Children’s Charter of Belonging

Following the success of the One Wrexham Charter of Belonging, it was acknowledged that it was important that the young people of Wrexham are fairly represented in our work. One key way that we have started to do this is through the introduction of the One Wrexham Children’s Charter of Belonging – a version of the Charter designed by the young people of Wrexham, for the young people of Wrexham.

This Charter is aimed at involving the schools in the County Borough. The Charter itself was designed by a group of students formerly of St Mary’s Catholic Primary and was officially launched at an event held in St. Josephs Catholic & Anglican High School in February 2011. We are very proud to announce that all schools in the County Borough have signed up to the Charter. Each has been provided with a framed copy that can be seen in a prominent position within the school. We feel that the values the children have placed in the Charter are representative of all young people in the County Borough.
