Support for Young Parents
There are a number of services in Wrexham supporting Young Parents:
The Aspire Project, funded by Big Lottery Fund, works across Wrexham and Flintshire to support young parents or expectant parents aged 14 to 25. Aspire is a partnership project between Barnardo’s, Careers Wales, Flintshire Mind, Family Information Service and Glyndwr University.
Aspire helps young parents build self-esteem and confidence so that they can successfully undertake the difficult transition from adolescence to adulthood and achieve their aspirations for themselves and their children.
