Where to find us

The Reference and Information section is on the first floor of Wrexham Library. However, all libraries in the county have reference collections and have access to the wide range of information available at Wrexham. All libraries also have access to vast sources of information on the Internet.

Enquiries may be made in person, by telephone, by letter or by e-mail reference.library@wrexham.gov.uk. We are always happy to offer assistance with any enquiry.

Reference items can not be taken out of the library as they need to be permanently available for all customers. However, we have many study tables where you can work quietly and have colour photocopying facilities that you can use.

You can obtain access to the official documents of the National Assembly for Wales at Wrexham Reference Library's 'Link Library'.

Centre for Democratic Information

Government Section of Wrexham LibraryDo you wish to participate in the democratic process? The Centre for Democratic Information at Wrexham Reference Library can provide you with the information you need.

There are four main elements in the collection:

  1. Wrexham County Borough Council

  2. The National Assembly for Wales

  3. Central Government

  4. The European Union and its constituent organisations

In other words, all four tiers of governance are covered by the collections which constitute the Centre for Democracy.

In addition, PC's located near the Centre for Democratic Information provide access to information on the Internet relating to aspects of local democracy.

A new section has also been designated in the Centre for Democracy for consultation documents, thus making it easier for you to comment on proposals which may affect you.
