Director of Social Services annual report 2016-17 (Draft for Consultation)
At the end of each financial year, every council in Wales must publish a report about its social services.
You’ll find a draft version of our report on this page.
It looks at how well our services were delivered in 2016-17, and highlights any improvements needed.
It also explains how we’re going to help people over the coming year.
We need your help
The way we deliver social services has a huge impact on people’s lives, but the challenges we face are greater than ever. We have fewer resources, but demand is growing.
So this is a really important document and we’d like to know what you think – about the things we’ve done, and the things we say we’re going to do.
We’d also like to know your thoughts on how the report is written. Is it easy to understand?
If you use our services or know someone who does (or if you’re just interested in the work we do), this is your chance to tell us what you think.
Download the draft and send us your comments or questions by email, post or telephone by Monday, April 24 2017.
