Family History
A computerised record of all interments from 1876 to the present day is
maintained in the Wrexham
Cemetery office, and, during normal working hours, cemetery staff
will try to assist visitors seeking to locate graves.
For deeper research purposes, access to original cemetery records and
registers can be gained by appointment with the Superintendent.
An online
marriages index search facility is available on this website, which
allows you to search through the marriage index of the Wrexham County
Borough for the years 1837 to 1997.
An online births index search facility is available on this website, which allows you to search through the birth index of the Wrexham County Borough and several other North and Mid Wales regions for the years 1837 to 1950.
The online deaths index search facility is available on this website, which allows you to search through the death index of the Wrexham County Borough and several other North and Mid Wales regions for the years 1837 to 1950.
A copy of the computerised burial records covering the period 1876 to
1989 can be accessed via Wrexham
County Borough Museum, which also operates a family history research
unit to assist those trying to locate sources of information on births
and deaths.

Footways / Pavements
The Highways Maintenance Division of the Transportation & Asset Management Department deals with the majority of maintenance within the highway. Aspects covered include maintenance of footways, carriageways, highway surface water drainage, street lighting, signs, roads markings, traffic signals, out of town centre car parks and some rural grass verges. In addition, the division deals with the co-ordination and control of works by utility companies and with emergencies, particularly related to weather, such as frost, snow and rain, and also general matters such as the result of roads traffic accidents.
