For private sector owner occupiers, landlords or tenants.
Disabled Facilities Grants
To improve mobility in the home.
Minor Adaptations Assistance
Will be awarded on a discretionary basis to all tenures to pay for qualifying adaptations to their home.
Homes Above Retail Premises (HARPS) Grants
Throughout Chirk or in Wrexham and Cefn town centres.
Technology With Support In The Community
An initiative to use Smart Technology to enable people with mental health problems to remain in their homes for a longer period of time.
Group Repair Schemes
In renewal areas only. Information will have been sent to you if you are eligible.
Safe In The Home Scheme
The scheme brings together the Council and other partners to target the vulnerable and elderly to feel safe and secure in their home.

Currently in Brymbo/Broughton and South West Wrexham.
Houseproud
To encourage owner/occupiers to take more responsibility for the improvements to their homes.
Home Repair Assistance (HRA)
Minor repair work connected with health and safety for our priority groups below.
Emergency Repair Grants (Care & Repair)
The aim of this grant is to enable minor (emergency) repairs and emergency holding measures to be carried out with the minimum of bureaucracy.

Welsh Church Acts Fund
Available throughout Wrexham County Borough. Up to £500 available. Priority to social and recreational projects.

Green Deal and energy-saving for your home or business
You can get help to pay for energy-saving improvements to your home or business. Energy-saving improvements can reduce your energy bills, heating costs and make your home more energy efficient.
Renewable Heat Premium Payment
The Renewable Heat Premium Payment is a one-off grant designed to help towards meeting the costs of installing renewable technologies in your home, until the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is introduced for domestic customers.

Available throughout Wales for outstanding historic buildings and buildings in Conservation Areas.

Available throughout Rossett, Gresford, Marford, Holt, Marchwiel, Worthenbury, Hanmer, Bettisfield, Isycoed, Overton, Erbistock, Chirk, Ceiriog Valley and parts of Ruabon for community based projects.

Farming Connect grants
Available throughout Wrexham County Borough. Help and advice for farmers to improve and diversify their businesses. 35% available.

Wales Tourist Board Tourism Development Grant
Available throughout Wrexham County Borough. Grant for upgrading premises for tourism use. Discretionary grant of 25% and up to 35% in Chirk, the Ceiriog Valley and Llangollen Rural.
