Our duty to you will end if you:
- Accept the offer of a permanent Council tenancy;
- Accept the offer of a permanent Housing Association tenancy
- Accept the offer of a tenancy in the privately rented sector.
- Refuse an offer of suitable accommodation. If you have applied to the Council for rehousing, this will mean that your application will be reassessed and your priority banding may change as a result.
However you have the right to appeal as to the suitability of the accommodation within 21 days. During the period when we would assess the suitability of the offer, we may continue to provide you with temporary accommodation.
If you are given a tenancy based on any false or misleading information that you have supplied, we will take legal action to end the tenancy.
