Economic Development Department Annual Report 2008/09

The Economic Development Department of Wrexham County Borough Council is tasked with developing the future prosperity of the County Borough.

It makes a positive contribution through direct action and by working in partnership with and influencing the activities of other organisations across the public, private and voluntary sectors.

The work of the Economic Development Department is divided into four broad themes- Business, Learning, Regeneration & promotion and Social Inclusion. This report highlights the significant achievements that have been made in 2008/09 as well as featuring individual case studies that reflect the department’s work. It also looks forward to the plans for 2009/10.
