Implementing Electronic Government Statement

Technology such as the internet is enabling the world to move towards service delivery 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. People want access to services and information beyond the traditional office opening hours.

The Council is embracing this agenda for change, and is investing in technology to make us more efficient and easier to reach. For example pensioners are using smart cards to receive concessionary travel on local buses, online payments for Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Rents, Car Park Fines, Sundry Debts, plus utility bills for Dee Valley Water and North Wales Gas and Council jobs are being advertised over the Council's website.
