Notice of Election for a County Borough Councillor for the Stansty Electoral Division of Wrexham County Borough Council

An election is to be held for a County Borough Councillor in respect of the Electoral Division named above.

Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Ty Dewi Sant Rhosddu Road Wrexham, LL11 1NF, on any day after the date of this notice but not later than NOON on Friday, 28 September 2007.

Nomination papers may be obtained from the Returning Officer, Ty Dewi Sant, Rhosddu Road, Wrexham, LL11 1NF. The Returning Officer will, at the request of any local government elector for the said electoral area, prepare a nomination paper for signature.

If the election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday, 25 October 2007 between the hours of 7am and 10pm.

Applications, amendments or cancellations of POSTAL VOTES must reach the Electoral Registration Office, Ty Dewi Sant, Rhosddu Road Wrexham, LL11 1NF by 5pm on Wednesday, 10 October 2007.

Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Office, Ty Dewi Sant, Rhosddu Road, Wrexham, LL11 1NF by 5pm on Wednesday, 17 October 2007.

Applications to vote by proxy at this election applied for on grounds of physical incapacity, where that physical incapacity occurred after 5 pm on Wednesday, 20 September 2006, must reach the Electoral Registration Office at Ty Dewi Sant, Rhosddu Road, Wrexham, LL11 1NF by 5pm Thursday 25 October 2007.
