European Funding For Chirk, the Ceiriog Valley and Llangollen Rural - Objective 2

The Objective 2 Programme is a European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Initiative and offers support for the economic regeneration of the area around Chirk, the Ceiriog Valley and Trevor.

There is over £1 million available between 2001 and 2005. This should lead to a total regeneration programme of more than £2 million. Match funding of at least 50% of the total cost must be provided by the applicant or partner organisations. This should lead to a total regeneration programme in approximately of £2 million.

Support is available under the following priorities:

• Developing Competitive and Sustainable Small and Medium Enterprises
• Sustainable Rural Development
