Local Partnerships

Introduction

The Wrexham Local Partnership is an informal partnership of agencies who have an interest in the new Post 2000 Objective 3 Funding. Its main aim is to develop a partnership approach to accessing Objective 3 funding in the County of Wrexham area. A core group of members of the partnership meet regularly with its main objective of developing a Local Action Plan for the County Borough to strategically address the Objective 3 Programming Document in relation to the needs of the borough.

The Local Partnership is based on the one thirds principle (one third public sector, one third private and one third voluntary) The Partnership served by the Secretariat with the European Office taking on this role.
