The Secretariat's function to the Objective 3 Partnership is provided through Wrexham County Borough Council’s Economic Development Department.

The Functions of the Secretariat

• To support Wrexham’s Objective 3 Partnership Board in the implementation of the Programme.
• To assist project sponsors in the preparation of quality eligible bids.
• To monitor progress towards Local Action Plan targets.
• To raise awareness of Objective 3 in Wrexham.
• To provide information on the workings of the Programme to the wider Partnership.
• To provide clear guidance to applicants prior to each application round.
• To hold seminars and workshops for the Objective 3 Partnership.
• To provide an advisory and administrative role to the Objective 3 Partnership.
