The Landlords Forum provides an opportunity for Landlords and others who have an interest in the private rented sector to meet and network together. Information and presentations are provided by speakers with knowledge and experience of the private rented sector.
Private Sector Landlords and Managing Agents
Wrexham’s Landlord’s Forum will take Place at the Catrin Finch Conference Centre, Glyndwr University on Thursday 3 November 2016 to begin at 5:30pm.
It is highly recommended for all landlords and Managing Agents to attend this particular meeting as there will be Huw Ap Dewi, explaining all aspects of the new benefits system ‘My Account’. My Account is the Council’s new online portal which allows customers to view their Council tax and benefits statements, make claims for exemptions and discounts. Customers can now also make a full housing benefit claim online through My Account. All this can be done by registering once with one email address.
In addition, Julie Woolfenden of the NLA will chair and host the forum and will alert us to all current and important landlord news.
There is no need for you to confirm attendance but please aim to arrive between 5-5:30pm. Refreshments provided upon arrival.
There will be a buffet provided for all at about 6:30pm
