A483 Wrexham Bypass Resurfacing Scheme
The North East Wales Trunk Road Agency on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government
would like to advise the travelling public that essential maintenance resurfacing works to the A483 Wrexham Bypass between Gresford Interchange and Mold Road Interchange will commence on or around Monday the 4th October 2004 and will then continue until Friday 5th November 2004.
The works will be undertaken using lane closures and a period of contraflow. All slip roads will remain open. A night closure of the Chester bound off slip at Gresford Interchange will be required for a period of two nights.
A mandatory 40 m.p.h. speed limit will be enforced for the duration of the works. North Wales Police will be actively enforcing the Speed Limit with Cameras as part of the "Arrive Alive" initiative of the North Wales Casualty Reduction Partnership.
The North East Wales Trunk Road Agency and the Welsh Assembly Government regret the inconvenience which will be caused to the travelling public whilst these essential maintenance works are being carried out.
Further information on the A483 can be obtained on the website of the North Wales Traffic Control Centre.
Up to date 24 hours travel information is available on 0845 602 6020.
