Summer Events at Acton Park

There are four events for children and families organised at Acton Park over the summer holidays. The events have been organised by Seasonal Ranger Rachel Davies, who is working at Acton Park over the summer months thanks to funding from Acton Community Council.

The first event is a summer Animal Trail on Thursday 2nd August between 1pm- 3pm. Children of all ages can get involved in the trail around the park, looking for Acton's animal friends.

The second event is a fun sports and games session and will take place between 1pm and 3 pm on Friday 10th August. The event is open to 8-14 year olds, who will play a range of sports and games.

On Wednesday 22nd August, between 12pm-3.30 pm, there will be a Fun Day. Families are welcome to join us for an afternoon of fun with various activities. This event is supported by the Friends of Acton Park.

The park's final event of the summer is a nature arts and craft session on Thursday 30th August, running between 1pm-3pm. This event is suitable for 5-14 year olds, who will be able to join in various craft activities using natural materials.

All of the events are free with no booking required; please just meet by the infant's playground in the park. All children attending these events should be accompanied by an adult.
