Free Caravan Weight Checks
Wrexham Trading Standards Service are offering residents the opportunity to get their caravan weight checked for free out at the end of the month.
The checks will take place at the weighbridge at the Department's Ruthin Road site on May 28th 2005 between 9.00 and 1.00 pm.
With the prospect of warm summer weather and the approaching school holiday period this will give local caravanners the ideal opportunity to ensure that caravans which may not have turned a wheel for some months, are safe for the journey ahead.
The emphasis on the day will be education rather than law enforcement with advice being given on caravan safety and the importance of weight and load distribution.
