Friday 23rd December promises to be an action packed day for all the family at Gwersyllt Resource Centre.
The day kicks off with a Christmas show from local theatre company Aargol who combine music, storytelling, slapstick humour, puppetry, costumes and masks to provide a memorable performance for all ages.
Gwersyllt Resource Centre has teamed up with Pen y Maes Clinic to host the production for local families free of charge from 1.30-2.30pm.
Following the Aargol performance the staff at Gwersyllt are inviting local friends and residents to join them to celebrate the end of a successful year with coffee and mince pies from 3.00-5.00pm. Listen to carols played by Gwersyllt’s very own brass band, local PCSO and Flautist Phil Jones, Harmonica player John Jones and Christmas stories in the Library.
Sandra Gardener, Gwersyllt Resource Centre Manager said:
“Aargol performed last year and both children and adults alike loved it; it really is a Christmas production for all ages. I’d like to thank Pen y Maes Clinic who have donated their raffle money to make the performance possible.’
The Aargol performance will start at 1.30pm with coffee and mince pies at 3.00pm. For more information call Gwersyllt Resource Centre on 01978 722880 or email gwersylltresource@wrexham.gov.uk
