 Three Green Flag Awards for Wrexham in 2006
The Environment Department Parks, Country parks and Public Rights of Way have received three green flag awards this year. The awards were for Belle Vue Park, Ty mawr (which also received awards last year) and Alyn Waters Country park which received an award this year.
The national award scheme run by the Civic Trust recognises parks and Open Spaces in England and Wales that have reached a particular high standard. the parks are judged each year to make sure the standards are maintained.
