Guided Walk through Berwyn Ranges and Ceiriog Forest

On Wednesday the 2nd of September a member of Wrexham Council’s Public Rights of Way section will be leading a walk from Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog onto the Berwyn ranges and through the Ceiriog Forest. The walk also takes you pass Dolwen farm, an ancient farmhouse that according to tradition is associated with Owain Glyndwr.

The 8.5 mile walk will start at 10:00am in the Centenary Hall car park Llanarmon, and should take no longer than five hours to complete.

The walk has been categorised as a Grade C+ walk which includes some steeper inclines and stiles to negotiate. Persons wishing to take part in the walk are also advised to bring plenty of fluids, a packed lunch together with a good pair of walking boots! No dogs please.
