Library Car Park Closure 16.10.08
Yale College in Wrexham is set to receive a Royal Visitor on October 16th when HRH Prince Edward attends a celebration of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
In support of the event Wrexham Council's Library Car Park will be closed to the general public on the day. Notice boards have been put up in the car park to give regular users advance notice of the closure.
Alternative car parking is available at Waterworld and the People's Market multi storey car parks. Blue Badge holders are advised that parking spaces will be made available in the Council's Guildhall car park on that day.
Martin Wright, Chief Transportation and Asset Management Officer, said:
"We know this will inconvenience some users of the car park and we are giving as much notice as possible to allow them to make alternative arrangements. We are supportive of the event which will see many of the county borough's young people showcase their skills learned under the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme to the Prince."
