Live 8 Car Parking Information

The Live 8 Concert screening on Queens Square on July 2nd will cause limited disruption to town centre car parking.

In order to assist the event, Wrexham Council are advising that the lower level of the Guildhall car park will be closed on Saturday 2nd July 2005. Only the upper area of the Guildhall car park will be available for public parking.

The town centre's other car parks will remain unaffected and the closure is not expected to cause any major problems. As the concert is expected to conclude at 8.00 pm, the People's Market Multi Storey car park will remain open until 9.00 pm.

Lambpit Street and Rhosddu Road will be closed from 6.00 am to midnight on Saturday 2nd July to allow safe pedestrian access to the event and drivers are asked to avoid this area.
