New Service for reporting stray dogs
Wrexham Council will take over responsibility for the out of hours stray dogs service from April 28 replacing the stray dog out of hours service currently carried out by the Police.

Chirk Infants is Officially Outstanding
There's smiles all round in Chirk Infants school following the news it has received an outstanding Estyn Inspection report. Seven areas were inspected and all received a staggering Grade 1 "good with outstanding features". The quality of 61% of the teaching was also graded 1 which far exceeds the Welsh average of 17%.

Sunshiny Days for one lucky Wrexham School
Wrexham Schools are in with a chance of bringing the sunshine into their classrooms, thanks to a new competition. Local newspaper, the Wrexham Evening Leader has joined forces with Wrexham County Borough Council, SHARP and the Low Carbon Partnership to actively try to get schools to further reduce their carbon footprint.
