Play Area Revamp at Ty Mawr

Younger visitors to Ty Mawr country park can now take advantage of new play equipment following the completion of a £35,000 refurbishment programme funded from Waste Recycling Group Landfill Communities Fund Money, administered by WREN and Wrexham Council.

Wrexham's Pink Pavilion In Place

The Eisteddfod is definitely on its way to Wrexham, as the distinctive Pink Pavilion was hoisted into place today on Lower Berse Farm off Ruthin Road. The Wrexham skyline now boasts eight pink towers, and these will remain in place until after the end of the festival, which is held from 30 July – 6 August.

Eisteddfod Road Restrictions Announced

As the National Eisteddfod 2011 prepares to open its gates in Wrexham on 30 July organisers have released details of traffic restrictions that will be in place for the duration of the event. The Eisteddfod takes place at lower Berse Farm and will occupy the fields between the A525 Ruthin Road and B5099 Bersham Road. It will finish on 6th August.
