Senior Railcards savings this Christmas

Wrexham County Borough a limited number of Senior Railcards available, for sale at the discounted price of £24.50, a saving of £3.50 off the current recommended retail price.

Councillor David Bithell, Lead Member for the Environment and Transport at Wrexham County Borough Council said:

“With many people planning to visit friends and relatives, or perhaps planning a day trip, during the Christmas period, it is an excellent time to purchase a Senior Railcard to benefit from the savings on offer. I would urge local residents to take advantage of the current offer, not only to benefit during Christmas but to continue making savings in 2012.”

Senior Railcards are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and allow the cardholder 1/3 off all Anytime, Off-Peak and Advance fares across the National Rail Network.

The offer is exclusively available to all persons aged over 60 years, and who are residents of Wrexham County Borough. Senior Railcards can be purchased from Contact Wrexham, 16 Lord Street, Wrexham, by showing proof of residence and age.
