Lost Sons of Penycae

Barry Jones, local author now living in Kent, has launched his latest book "The Lost Sons of Penycae" which gives a fascinating insight into the war time history and stories of the brave men from this local village in Wrexham.

The books follows research into the names of 45 men who are engraved on the Penycae war memorial which stands in the heart of the village. The Lost Sons of Penycae shows their courage and sacrifice by delving into war time history and telling the sad and poignant stories of those men who fought so bravely to keep their country free.

Barry will be visiting Wrexham County Borough museum and Archives on Tuesday June 27 at 6 pm for a book signing.

Booking is essential and the event costs £5.00 which includes light refreshments.
