 Approved by the Executive Board on the 18th of July 2006, this Procurement Strategy covers the period 1st August 2006 to 31st July 2009.
It sets the framework within which the Council will work ensuring that purchasing across the County Borough Council fulfils the requirements of Best Value and the Making the Connections Agenda. It applies across all services and directly contributes to the achievement of the Council's Corporate Priorities.
It sets out the priorities for Procurement in the Council and plays a vital part in helping officers and Members to concentrate on key areas.
Included in this document is the e-Procurement Strategy, attached as appendix 1.
