Carers - When your caring role stops, what do you do?
Once a person’s role as a Carer comes to an end they may often feel a big void is left after experiencing the loss of the person they care-for, the loss of purpose from the caring role coming to an end and personal feelings of loneliness.
This can be an emotional time when Carers commonly feel a range of emotions and feelings. Talking with people who have experience of life after caring can be helpful and there is a range of ways to do this in Wrexham.
Some things that carers have said help them to get their life together again after caring are good health, adequate income, having a will, having interests and a social life with family and friends; work and further caring activities.
