Young Carers in Wrexham

Action for Children

Action For Children Wrexham Young Carers’ Project is funded by Wrexham County Borough Council, and the Wrexham Local Health Board.

The aims of the Young Carers’ Project are to identify, provide support, advice and activities for young carers’ within the County Borough.

We currently work with young people in the County Borough whose lives are affected by living with someone who has an illness, a disability, mental illness/mental health issue, elderly or infirm, or has substance misuse. These young people will therefore have additional caring responsibilities within their families.

For more information about our Young Carers service, please contact the Project Coordinator on 01978 264040.
