The Second Voice Advocacy Service is a free confidential and independent advocacy service for young people aged 11-25 living in Wrexham County Borough. The service supports young people with a specific issue where that young person feels that they need help to have their views, wishes and feelings heard.

What is North Wales Advocacy?
North Wales Advocacy is a new service which started in North Wales in April 2015, providing eligible children and young people with advocacy support. The service covers all six North Wales Local Authority areas. North Wales Advocacy service provides fully trained advocates with extensive experience of working with children and young people.
What is Advocacy?
Advocacy is about speaking up for children and young people. Advocacy is about empowering children and young people to make sure that their rights are respected and their views and wishes are heard at all times.
Advocacy can help young people to:
- get their voice heard
- know and understand their rights
- take part in meetings and reviews
- sort things out with their social worker or carer
- make a complaint
The North Wales advocacy service is independent – they are not part of Social Services.
