Haulfan Resource Centre

Haulfan (Sunny Place) offers a wide range of activities that are tailored to the individual’s preferences and assessed needs. We have a fully equipped Sensory Room and have a trained Aromatherapist. Leisure activities include visits to the gym, swimming, hand ball, pedal power and boccia (like carpet bowls). We also offer sessions in craft, gardening, music, kitchen skills and computers. We have regular bus trips to local amenities and also go on day trips to the coast or a visit to Welshpool to spend the day on a barge.

Haulfan is situated very close to Wrexham Town Centre enabling people to access local amenities such as the Library, shops, sports centres and fitness gyms.

All people attending the centre will have a Service Delivery Plan which will contain important information. Finding out what individuals are good at. Any help they need. A Keyworker will be allocated and put a plan together with a timetable of activities suiting personal choice.

All people attending Haulfan will have a review every 6 to 12 months. A social worker will be invited, along with parents, carers and keyworker. At the review individuals will be able to say what they want to happen in their lives.

At Haulfan there is a regular advocacy group which meets every 3 weeks, covering varying topics.
