Portable Appliance Testing
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) provides training and support to people with disabilities to enable them to work and assist in carrying out safety checks on electrical appliances.
People we Support learn how to undertake annual checks on electrical equipment which is installed in a variety of settings e.g. care homes, offices, community centre's etc. whilst having the benefit of trained support staff.
As well as providing skills/training, staff support individuals to work towards recognized qualifications. People we support have the opportunity to interact with people in various situations, thus achieving social inclusion and effective communication skills.
