Fair Access to Care

The Wrexham Adult Social Care Department provides services to adults, in other words, people aged 18+ years or over.

The kind of people we help are usually those who need support to deal with difficulties in their daily lives because of their physical or sensory impairments, learning disabilities or mental health needs. We also provide support to the carers of people with these difficulties.

The Welsh Assembly Government have given guidance to all local authorities in Wales to follow when carrying out their community care duties. The guidance aims to create fair access to care services throughout Wales.
