Paying for Social Care Services

The Wrexham Adult Social Care Department provides services to adults, in other words, people aged 18+ years or over.

The kind of people we help are usually those who need support to deal with difficulties in their daily lives because of their physical or sensory impairments, learning disabilities or mental health needs. We also provide support to the carers of people with these difficulties.

This booklet deals with those services that people receive in their own homes and in the community. Residential care and nursing home services (including respite care) and the charges for those services are not covered by this booklet.
