There are a total of 9 units to complete, 4 of which are optional.
5 main units are:
- Maintain effective working relationships
- Contribute to the maintenance of a healthy, safe and productive working environment
- Manage your work and development
- Contribute to co-ordinating administrative services
- Research, prepare and present information from a variety of sources

There are many units in this group – the Assessor will discuss with the Learner, the most appropriate units to complete. Some examples are:
- Develop effective services for customers
- Contribute to organising events
- Support users of administrative services
- Support and record business meetings
- Contribute to scheduling and co-ordinating activities and resources

Focuses on the knowledge and understanding which underpins the NVQ capability and additional knowledge.
2 enhancements –
(one must be IT related skill) e.g ECDL all 7 modules = 2 enhancements
3 modules = 1 enhancement
Other units from NVQ 3 in Administration or relevant NVQs at level 2 or above

| What commitment is required: |
- Induction at Wrexham ITeC – ½ Day
- Time to attend ITeC Workshops once a month – as required
- At least 2 hours a week to collect evidence in the workplace
- Assessor to visit the Learner in the workplace – at least once a month for 2 – 3 hours during which time the Learner will need to be released from work duties. (All visits by Assessor and days in ITeC will be on agreed pre-arranged dates).

| The progress and success of the Learner will be enhanced by the support given by the organisation as well as the Assessor and Wrexham ITeC. |
