Single Education Plan 2006-2008

All Councils throughout Wales are required to adopt by 1st September, 2006, a Single Education Plan for academic years 2006-2008.

The purpose of the Single Education Plan is to provide direction and focus to the Council’s management of education services. It replaces a number of previous plans, including the Education Strategic Plan, School Organisation Plans and the Behaviour Support Plan. In 2008 the Single Education Plan will be replaced by a Children and Young People’s Plan, which will cover all services provided to young people and children.

This Plan will guide our work on behalf of Children and Young People in Wrexham and their families, over the next two years. Many thanks to all those who responded with comments during the consultation process. The plan can be viewed or downloaded below.

Alternatively, we can provide you with a hard copy. Please contact Barbara Sznerch on 01978 297548 or email: education@wrexham.gov.uk
