Right 2 Respect Young Women's Work

The aim of the 'Right 2 Respect' Project is to raise awareness of the needs and views of young women living in Wrexham County.

The action research model follows a 'Look, Think, Act' pattern.

During the project young women from across Wrexham have had an opportunity to be involved in action research groups.

The young women who have participated have had the opportunity to look at a range of issues relevant to young women and consider ways of addressing these issues. It has given them an increased awareness of the issues currently affecting young women and they are more informed about the services currently available to young women.

It is an empowering activity for the young women involved and they will receive certificates to acknowledge their contribution to the project.
